1. San Francisco International Airport

By 2012, the airport had become the 13th busiest airport in the world by cargo traffic, registering 1,787,027 tonnes.

Haikou Meilan International Airport is the largest airport in Hainan, but the 2nd busiest (21st busiest busiest airport in China with 10,696,585 passengers in 2012).


9. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), formerly Sahar International Airport, is the primary international airport serving the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, India. It is the second busiest airport in the country, and was ranked the 48th busiest airport in world by Airports Council International in 2013. The airport has five operating terminals spread over an operational area of 750 hectares (1,850 acres) and handles more than 780 aircraft movements per day. It handled a record 51 movements in one hour on 16 September 2014.

10. Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport

It is one of the three largest airport hubs serving the Pearl River Delta urbanised area in southern China, alongside Hong Kong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The airport also has direct ferry routes to Hong Kong International Airport, where passengers can transit without going through immigration and custom checks, akin to transit between two flights.
